For 25 years, the Mayday Foundation has been working to change lives of persons with disabilities and marginalized communities across Pakistan and beyond. Guided by the principle of “Able the Disable”, we envision a world where no call for “Mayday” is ever needed—because support, dignity, and equality are always within reach.

- Warm Clothing Drive (SDG 1: No Poverty) – Distributing winter clothing to PWDs and poor communities in extreme-weather regions.

Our Founder – Lt Cdr (R) Shawaz Hussain
Lt Cdr (R) Shawaz Hussain Baluch is a former Naval Pilot, global disability rights advocate, and motivational speaker who turned personal adversity into a lifelong mission. After losing his sight during service, he rebuilt his vision—this time for humanity.
- Global Advocate: First to demand reserved seats for Persons with Disabilities in Pakistan’s Senate, National and Provincial Assemblies.
- Certified Professional: PMP (USA), PRINCE2 (UK), and Oxford Social Entrepreneurship Certification.
- Social Innovator: Founder of Mayday Foundation and School of Motivation; driving inclusion through humanitarian projects and AI-based assistive technology.
